Fabric Bookmarks.
These bookmarks are made with fabric that was due for landfill. This batch is made with some very boring beige and grey curtain fabric that I have hand dyed with Dylon. The colours took fantastically and are now much more exciting and usable.
As I only get small quantities of these fabrics it means everyone is different.
They also are embellished with lace, ribbon and fancy machine stitching including gold or silver thread. The backs are in a sympathetic colour fabric and topstitched around the edges.
The tassels are all individual and made using embroidery threads and hand dyed knitting yarns. Each one is made to match the colour of the fabric and has three glass beads between the tassel and the bookmark.
There is a ribbon label on the short edge printed with the website details.
Size is approximately 15cm long and 5.5cm wide. The tassel is approximately 9cm long
